windows movie maker: my editing program of choice, featured on windows vista and 7! this link is to the wayback machine's archive of windows live essentials, so it will probably only work on windows, srry Dx!! make sure to uncheck everything except windows movie maker if you just want movie maker. this is the version from 2012 so it may have a few bugs. i haven't run into anything too bad though ^3^

OpenShot video editor: a newer, open-source alternative to windows movie maker. simple but powerful video editing tool!

VLC: an open-source media player that's reliable and has been around for a long time! you can even customize it!!
